American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown (PCU) position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a TN or Compact RN license, with night shift availability.

23-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathy, acute coronary syndrome, and pre/post cardiac surgery patients
-
Ages served range from young adults through late adults (18–60+)
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1
-
Staffing team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Interns; RNs hold full responsibility for their patient team

Night shift: 18:45–07:15
-
13-week contract
-
Active TN or Compact RN license required
-
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued)

NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test required

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Provide nursing care to a variety of cardiac patients including those with heart failure and related disorders
