Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a special education capacity
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:
- Develop and individualize lesson plans that accommodate students’ specific learning and behavioral needs
- Modify curriculum for students with a wide range of disabilities
- Conduct assessments and maintain comprehensive records of student progress
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement IEPs and coordinate instructional strategies
