Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Supervisor of the Front of House to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and event personnel, to deliver outstanding guest services
- Oversee shift management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and smooth transitions between shifts
- Coordinate and manage event setups, ensuring all logistical details are executed flawlessly from start to finish
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors
- Manage operational tasks such as cash handling, billing, and report writing to maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, resource allocation, and operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, and first aid readiness including CPR certification
- Utilize technical proficiency in Microsoft Office for scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes
- Lead team meetings to communicate expectations, provide training updates, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Make managerial decisions swiftly during high-pressure situations to uphold service standards and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management with a focus on front-of-house supervision
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff supervision and team management
- Strong background in events management and operational coordination for large venues or resorts
- Excellent communication skills for managerial decision-making and staff supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for report writing and administrative tasks
- Experience in managing budgets, cash handling, and operational logistics
- Knowledge of customer service best practices within hospitality or event venues
- Prior experience with shift management and guest services is essential
- Familiarity with health & safety standards including first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a similar setting is highly desirable
