Product Development Engineer III

We’re partnering with an innovative medical device engineering business looking for a Product Development Engineer III to play a key role in developing next-generation catheter-based technologies.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll own major parts of the product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialisation, working on complex, highly regulated products.
The role:
- Lead product development across complex catheter and minimally invasive device programmes
- Drive design verification, validation and risk management activities
- Own design transfer into manufacturing and support process development
- Develop advanced test methods, fixtures and prototypes
- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and suppliers
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical workstreams
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in medical device product development
- Strong catheter, delivery system or steerable device experience
- Full NPD lifecycle ownership, from concept to commercialisation
- Strong understanding of design controls, ISO 13485 and risk management
- SolidWorks, GD&T and test method development experience
Ideal backgrounds include interventional cardiology, structural heart, neurovascular or minimally invasive devices.
