Total Environmental Concepts, Inc (TEC) is a leading Petroleum Service and Construction company, delivering high-quality solutions across the Mid-Atlantic region. We areseeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician II with at least three years of experience in petroleum equipment service and repair to join our team. Applicants who have completed industry-related courses through an accredited company are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Service Technician
- Diagnose fueling issues utilizing past experience, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Perform maintenance and repairs of petroleum equipment ranging from hanging hardware to dispensers and related fuel management software.
- Complete project reports per visit with sufficient detail to document services performed, equipment worked on and final status of the call. This includes site pictures and specific information in case parts are used or needed. These reports are captured in a cloud based program.
- Communicate issues and project results that impact timeliness and status of projects.
- Work independently yet collaboratively in a team setting, demonstrating resourcefulness and a willingness to engage other team members to resolve the customers issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, customer-service-driven environment with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail.
- Ensure strict adherence to client and company policies/procedures related to safety, health, and the environment.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers to foster strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Testing Technician
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, inspections – Monthly and Annual Walkthrough Inspections or Third Party Inspections.
- Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems – Test tanks, lines, leak detectors, Vapor Recovery.
- Install equipment and test tank gauge systems – ATG Certifications.
- Dispenser Calibrations
- Aboveground storage tank inspections – API SP001
Qualifications and Requirements:
Required:
- Minimum of three years experience in the petroleum service industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Physical capability of lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in various field conditions.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
