Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Prepare and package medications, proper labeling, storage
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
- Enter prescription orders into the computer system accurately.
- Perform medication reconciliation and ensure accurate patient profiles.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Current pharmacy technician certification in Georgia
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
