We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Helper to support our daily operations in Linden, NJ. This position is available on a part-time or full-time basis and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is eager to learn and grow with the company.
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks, including cleaning, general maintenance, driving, basic repairs, organizing work areas, and supporting the team wherever needed. Every day brings new responsibilities, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning of offices, warehouse, and work areas.
- Complete basic maintenance and minor repair tasks.
- Drive company vehicles for pickups, deliveries, and errands as needed.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Organize inventory, tools, and workspaces to maintain an efficient environment.
- Help with property upkeep and routine maintenance projects.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional workplace.
- Assist team members with daily operational tasks as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
- Perform other general labor and support duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
- Reliable, punctual, honest, and self-motivated.
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
