Gillmann Services is now hiring Carpenters for work in Beckley WV and the surrounding areas!
Duties:
- Interpret plans and prints, work with crew to complete tasks in timely manner, ensure project deadlines are met
- Perform demolition, new build, and remodel work on both residential and commercial projects
- Build and install forms, install and repair foundation, walls, roofing, other framing duties as required
- Install trim and crown molding, windows, hang doors, cabinetry, install fixtures, tile and other flooring
- Light plumbing and electrical work
- Maintain clean work environment on all sites and assist in other general labor duties (moving materials, etc.)
- Previous experience hanging/finishing drywall
- Follow all safety protocols on job sites
- Any other duties as required
Requirements:
- Proficient with frame to finish carpentry
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Ability to stand/ bend/ crouch/ lift up to 75lbs regularly during shift
- Knowledge of all required hand and power tools
- Have hand tools/power tools required for the position
- Strong communication skills with customers and crew
- Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks at hand
- Strong leadership skills
- Consent to pass a drug and background screening
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
