Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated physical therapist to join our office in Pembroke Pines, FL!
Part time hours (with potential to become full time)
Monday- Friday: 4 patients in the afternoon 3x a week, 1 morning patient 1x a week
$80 per evaluation/re-evaluation
$70 per treatment visit
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals.
- Educate and train parents/caregivers on ways to support their child’s progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Use therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment to help improve patients' independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and disorders common in children.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a passion for working with children and families.
Requirements:
- FL Dept. of Health License in Physical Therapy
- Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Credentialled in Florida Medicaid
- Valid driver's license/ reliable transportation
