Restaurant Floor Manager – High Volume Spanish Restaurant

We are a high-volume Spanish restaurant in California seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a strong restaurant operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house and overall restaurant operations
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a high-volume service team
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labor costs
- Train, coach, and mentor managers and service staff
- Maintain service standards, efficiency, and consistency
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in restaurant management (required)
- Experience in high-volume restaurants or busy environments (required)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on, operational mindset — comfortable being on the floor during service
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
