Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Protein Processing Technician to join our team in Sanger, CA. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality pet treats in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on a production line.
Operate and monitor production equipment used in pet treat manufacturing
Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to established formulas
Work directly with raw beef, pork, poultry, and fish in the production process
Handle, process, and prepare raw proteins in compliance with food safety standards
Package finished products according to company standards
Perform quality checks to ensure product consistency and compliance
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and company safety guidelines
Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
Accurately complete production and quality control documentation
Support team members to meet daily production goals
Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant highly preferred
Experience handling raw meat products strongly preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments
Basic math and measurement skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Fast-paced production setting
Regular exposure to raw beef, pork, poultry, and fish
Cold and/or wet working conditions
Steel toe boots required
Must follow strict safety and sanitation protocols at all times
