Build, launch, and suggest ways to optimize campaigns that drive applications and support BD growth for an educational recruitment company. You’ll work directly with the US & UK marketing lead to provide deliverables across webpages, emails, internal sales enablement, and GTM initiatives for both new verticals and locations.
This role exercises good judgement over campaign strategy, audience targeting, and messaging decisions while maintaining high-quality output across multiple channels that involve writing, SEO, and AEO.
About the role
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Los Angeles, CA (Mid-Wilshire) with three days in office and two days WFH. Start date is ASAP. You’ll be part of a small team with two marketers based in the LA office and one based in the London office with our branch, ANZUK. You’ll be reporting to the US & UK lead based in LA. Like any role in a fast-growing company with a lean marketing team, you’ll thrive if you learn quickly, maintain a high-level of quality across multiple channels, and are comfortable with ambiguity.
The below duties apply across both the US and UK with priorities weighted differently by region.
Own lifecycle and email mktg communication:
- Design, improve, and manage Mailchimp flows (announcements, bulk staffing-plan campaigns, nurture sequences for warm/tentative leads)
- Develop and maintain audience segmentations to improve targeting, engagement, and conversion across B2B and B2C audiences
- Own the email content calendar and develop comms for internal candidate, client, HR, and training-team email communications
- Draft and configure Fountain email/text sequences (recruiting/applicant communications) to increase conversion rates
Own content development and messaging execution:
- Align written output for new verticals - including 1-pagers, internal SharePoint hubs, and POV leadership pieces - to overall company and vertical-specific positioning
- Write and publish SEO and AEO-optimized blogs and pages against a list of target keywords/topics addressing US and UK market needs
- Support writing job ad copy and job ad landing pages to increase conversions
- Lead content distribution across social profiles, Google News, Glassdoor, and company news with visuals created by our design-focused marketer
Drive brand and messaging consistency:
- Serve as the messaging-consistency check across channels to make sure our positioning carries through consistently to social, email, or other assets covering the same service, even when produced by a different teammate
- Report execution across the team: delivered, upcoming, and blocked
- Report and analyze owned campaign performance to recommend improvements to messaging, targeting, and tactics
Perks and benefits
- $71,000-75,000/yr - this is an exempt role
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company contribution
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote)
- Flexible Time Off (FTO)
About you
- 3-4 years in a marketing generalist, content, or email marketing role
- Comfortable managing a high volume of recurring, execution-level requests across multiple verticals
- Clear, concise writer capable of championing an existing brand voice
- Detail-oriented with a consistent proofing system
- Highly organized and used to juggling multiple projects
- Experience with Mailchimp automations and audience segmentations
- Experience with WordPress, Figma, SharePoint, and Semrush or other SEO tool
- A plus if you’re familiar with recruitment marketing or education as an industry
