Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling dishes efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring food safety and proper handling at all times.
- Support the team during service hours by ensuring timely food delivery and presentation.
- Help with menu planning ideas and contribute to daily kitchen operations.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow and excellent food service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food industry best practices are important.
- Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments will be beneficial.
