Temporary Licensed Security Officer – Event Season
A&D Security Solutions is currently hiring Temporary Licensed Security Officers for the Trumansburg Grass Roots Festival. We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused officers to provide security services at fairs, festivals, concerts, and community events.
We currently have multiple openings available in Trumansburg, NY.
Trumansburg NY Festival Dates are 7/15-7/20
Position Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and professional security presence at events
- Monitor entrances, exits, vendor areas, and public spaces
- Conduct routine patrols and maintain situational awareness
- Assist with crowd management and public safety
- Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies
- Write accurate incident and activity reports
- Work closely with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when needed
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during events
- Prior event security experience is preferred, but not required
