Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary/Middle School Technology Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support to students. The Elementary/Middle School Technology Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and promoting a love for learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom environment.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience in teaching technology education is a plus.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively and implement behavior management strategies.
- Experience in private school settings is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes is desirable.
- A passion for working with children and fostering their academic growth.
