We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Painter to join our GLO line team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing a variety of parts and products according to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing a clean, professional finish and understands the importance of consistency, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming as required.
- Mix, match, and apply paint, coatings, or finishes to metal and other materials per specifications.
- Operate and maintain airless spray guns, and related equipment.
- Inspect painted parts for runs, drips, and uniformity; perform touch-ups as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules.
- Assist with inventory control of paints, coatings, and supplies.
Qualifications
- Prior painting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environment preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a paint booth environment with appropriate PPE.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
