We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate is confident in managing complex medical and cardiac conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and responding quickly to life-threatening emergencies.
General Information:
- Number of Beds - 37
- Number of Staff – 12
- Day Shift –8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk
- Night Shift - 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs
- Patient Ratios – 1:6; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients - estimated never guaranteed
- Type of equipment – PCA Pumps; IV pumps; Chest Tubes
- EMR - Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
- BLS & ACLS
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Prior Meditech experience
- NIH
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Central lines; Medication drips
- Heart Cath recovery; Bubble studies
