American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.

Pediatric MRI unit within a large academic teaching hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 Trauma designation

Patient population includes inpatient, ER, and outpatient pediatric cases
-
Daily caseload varies based on unit needs
-
Charting performed in Epic
-
4x10-hour night shifts, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
-
Float within other buildings on campus is possible, as well as to sister facilities
-
No on-call required
-
Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
-
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
-
Current BLS certification (AHA only)

Siemens MRI equipment experience required
-
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

South Carolina license required if applicable
-
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Candidates who were previously permanent staff or PRN at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized

Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs

Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

Teal top and black bottom scrubs required

Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for daytime parking

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak hurricane months are August and September
