The Production Supervisor drives a Lean Manufacturing philosophy built on operator accountability, continuous improvement, and the relentless elimination of waste.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily team meetings covering safety, quality, and output metrics to keep teams aligned and accountable.
- Plan and manage daily area staffing, reorganizing as needed to keep lines balanced and output steady.
- Provide regular, meaningful performance feedback to employees — including accountability to attendance, anti-harassment, and privacy policies — utilizing HR performance management processes as needed.
- Identify process improvement and cost reduction opportunities, working with the team to implement and sustain changes.
- Drive root cause analysis to reduce repeat process breakdowns, requesting updates to work instructions, PMs, and workflows based on operator feedback and results.
Additional Task and Responsibilities
- Monitor and drive improvement across key metrics: DART rate, reprint yield, red sheet rate, on-time delivery, lead time, labor cost per unit, and material scrap.
- Control overtime and headcount to ensure unit cost targets are met.
- Respond to Sales and customer inquiries promptly and with a solutions-oriented mindset — serving as an ambassador for operations.
- Support career growth by developing employees for future opportunities and promotions.
- Build and maintain succession plans to ensure business continuity.
- Lead and participate in Kaizen events, engaging leads operators to increase accountability at every level.
- Notify engineering and EHS of risk areas and improvement opportunities to proactively minimize safety incidents.
