Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Assist in food handling duties, including cooking, assembling orders, and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking orders promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
- Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
