Join Our Leadership Team in Racine!
We are expanding our leadership team in Racine! A minimum of one year of management experience is required for this position! If you bring the hustle and a great attitude, we’ll provide the leadership training. We need positive, motivated candidates who love food, people, and a highly productive environment, that want to grow with us. There is 2 weeks of training (80 hours) at a training wage determined based on experience and then your Team Leader wage kicks in. There are opportunities to increase from there.
What You Will Do (The Inside "Scoop")
We believe in leading by example. As a Team Leader, you aren’t sitting in a back office doing paperwork—you are the heartbeat of the shift, spending about 98% of your time right alongside your team! You’ll be fully hands-on, diving into the daily action:
- Master the Menu: Crafting premium hot dogs, making craft burgers, and serving our tasty-cool shakes.
- Guest First: Greeting customers with genuine warmth, taking orders at the counter, and rocking the drive-thru.
- Keep it Sparkling: Leading the charge on cleanliness by maintaining equipment, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen and dining areas pristine.
- Shift Control: Running great shifts self-sufficiently, keeping wait times low, and ensuring food quality and food safety standards are strictly followed.
- Mentorship: Training and coaching team members to reach "Best on the Block" standards.
We will teach you everything you need to know! While you bring the food experience and the hustle, we will provide all the training you need to master our specific operations, equipment, and recipes.
The Schedule & Vibe
We value consistency and work-life balance, which is why we offer a predictable, full-time schedule:
- 4 to 5 days per week
- 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM) * Must have flexibility to work weekends.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience dealing with food (Quick Service or Fast Casual restaurant experience) and 1 of which as a leader over a team is required.
- Attitude: A positive, high-energy attitude (it’s contagious!).
- Reliability: Our community counts on us to be open and ready to serve—punctuality is a must.
- Pace: Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment and seamlessly switch gears. You know how to keep your cool during the rushes, and you’re equally comfortable flying solo during our quieter hours—taking orders, prepping food, and holding down the fort with a smile..
