Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction in resource and self-contained classroom settings
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence
Position Details
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Contract position with renewal opportunities
- K-5th Grade - Self Contained
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
