Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor care machines
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Assist with light maintenance duties like minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams
- Use commercial cleaning supplies responsibly while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, ensuring deep cleaning of specialized areas or equipment
- Provide porter services such as moving supplies or furniture to support facility operations
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors
- Experience with various cleaning tools and chemicals used in professional cleaning environments
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks
