Job Title: Digital Health Literacy Coordinator (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Position Summary
The Digital Health Literacy Coordinator is responsible for providing bilingual (English/Spanish) digital health literacy education and individualized support to Translatina Network (TN) clients while coordinating program implementation, data collection, reporting, and community engagement activities. Under the supervision of the CEO, this position will support clients in developing the digital skills needed to access healthcare, telehealth, and other online health resources.
The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Program Specialist and other TN staff to implement digital health literacy programming, facilitate educational workshops and town halls, provide one-on-one digital navigation services, and oversee program documentation and reporting. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing program data, and preparing reports that highlight the digital health literacy needs of transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary (TGNCNB) communities, particularly transgender immigrants of color.
The Digital Health Literacy Coordinator serves as a trusted educator, advocate, and role model by providing culturally responsive education and promoting equitable access to digital healthcare resources for clients, community partners, and the broader public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement the TGNC Digital Empowerment Space Program, a structured skills-based curriculum designed to improve participants' digital health literacy.
- Co-facilitate Digital Healthcare Town Halls to educate community members, gather feedback, and identify barriers to accessing digital healthcare services.
- Provide one-on-one digital navigation assistance to clients accessing telehealth services, patient portals, online appointment systems, health applications, and other digital healthcare resources.
- Develop and deliver bilingual workshops, trainings, and educational presentations related to digital health literacy and healthcare technology.
- Collect, maintain, analyze, and organize program data while ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare program reports summarizing participant outcomes, community feedback, and recommendations for improving digital healthcare access.
- Assist in developing culturally and linguistically appropriate educational and outreach materials.
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and internal staff to strengthen digital health access for TGNCNB communities.
- Maintain participant confidentiality and comply with all agency policies and procedures.
- Represent Translatina Network at community meetings, outreach events, trainings, and conferences as assigned.
- Maintain current knowledge of digital health technologies, telehealth platforms, and community resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience or familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital healthcare resources.
- Ability to confidently teach digital skills to individuals with varying levels of computer literacy.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with clients, healthcare providers, community organizations, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Commitment to serving diverse communities, including transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and multicultural populations.
- Reliable attendance and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with program data collection, reporting, and record management.
- Experience preparing educational curricula, outreach materials, and presentations.
- Experience facilitating workshops or group trainings.
- Strong administrative and project coordination skills.
- Familiarity with public health, HIV prevention, health equity, or community-based programming.
