Responsibilities

- Monitor student progress through assessments, standardized testing, and performance data analysis to inform instruction
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management strategies
- Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate remote or hybrid instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance data in compliance with educational regulations
Requirements
- NJ Certification
- Proven classroom experience with young children or students in early childhood or primary education settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, learning styles adaptability, and classroom management techniques
- Excellent communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating educational technology
- Ability to work with students with diverse needs, including those with autism or requiring special education services
- Familiarity with educational compliance standards and regulation requirements in the teaching environment
- Demonstrated skills in tutoring, literacy education, math instruction, and working with standardized testing procedures
- Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus
- Passion for mentoring students and fostering a supportive learning atmosphere

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
