Heat Wave Visual is a fast growing, independent eyewear brand. Storefront associates
maintain an inviting and orderly storefront in our Gilroy showroom location. This role
takes pride in staying organized, creating great guest experiences and maintaining a
brand vision for the storefront area. Storefront Associates may also participate in non-
customer facing fulfillment duties aligned with the needs of the business and directed by
management during peak hours or sales events.

Key Responsibilities
● Greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, resolving
customer issues in a professional manner
● Operating a POS system to accurately record sales, returns and exchanges.
● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized showroom area and HQ entrance
● Replenish pick bins and maintain overstock and return areas
● Maintain and communicate inventory needs of storefront area
● Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a high volume e-commerce
environment
● Communicate professionally with internal and external business contacts
● Verify order accuracy, inspect products for quality, and ensure proper packaging
before shipment
● Build and assemble shipping boxes daily to support production and fulfillment
volume
● Support and prep bulk shipments, special releases, and promotional drops as
needed
● Assist with kitting projects, promotional inserts, and marketing material prep
● Receive incoming inventory, unload deliveries, and verify counts against packing
slips
● Label, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
● Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits
Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required
● Must be at least 18 years old
● Reliable transportation to and from Gilroy HQ
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Basic computer proficiency
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
● Retail experience
● Experience working in customer facing roles
● Familiarity with shopify, square and POS systems
