We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreK Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of children in your care while providing a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote child development in areas such as math, science, literacy, and physical education
- Provide individualized attention to each child to ensure their needs are met
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes socialization and emotional development
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare center
- Provide tutoring or additional support to children who may need it
- Creative Curriculum experience a plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education or able to achieve certification with online classwork
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Must be physically able to keep up with young children throughout the day
