Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires experience in upscale dining or nightlife settings, where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are paramount. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests, helping to create repeat business.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections and menu items.
- Process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering to management.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests in a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is a plus.
