What You'll Do
- Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences
- Observe and document children's growth and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration
- Help create joyful and meaningful learning experiences every day
Qualifications
✔ Minimum 1 year experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
✔ Minimum 12 ECE Units completed, including:
- Child Growth and Development
- Child, Family and Community
- Curriculum Course
- Infant/Toddler Course
OR
✔ CDA Credential
✔ CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
✔ Fingerprint Clearance and TB Clearance (or willingness to complete)
✔ Warm, dependable, professional attitude
✔ Passion for early childhood education and play-based learning
