Job Summary
You will be responsible for cleaning washers, dryers, folding tables, sweeping and moping and cleaning other items in the laundromat during your shift. You will also greet customers and assist them in using washers, dryers, and our payment system.
Other duties include transferring laundry from the washer to the dryer, and packaging dry laundry. Experience using a cash register is preferred. Laundry Attendants will also accept drop-off and return pick-up wash dry fold orders to customers.
You are:
- someone with a positive attitude and willingness to help people
- dependable, punctual, and responsible
- comfortable working independently without direct supervision
- comfortable standing, cleaning, folding, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- must be available at least 5 days per week, including 3 weekends per month
- must be 18+ years old
Responsibilities include:
- thoroughly cleaning washers, dryers, floors, folding tables, chairs and other items in the laundromat
- answering customer questions on how to use the washers, dryers and payment system
- using the point of sale register and other technologies to track and document laundry orders
- transferring laundry from washers to dryers, and packaging dry laundry
