Responsibilities
- Safely operate a range of commercial trucks.
- Load and unload materials manually or with mechanical equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and compliance documentation in accordance with transportation regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with all team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with delivery routes involving heavy lifting and load/unload procedures.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record adhering to safety standards.
- Prior experience working with Semi trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment is preferred but not required.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
