Miss Molly’s Cafe is a from-scratch neighborhood café serving breakfast, lunch, catering, and wholesale throughout Milwaukee. We’re known for thoughtful hospitality, high-quality food, and a kitchen culture built on teamwork, organization, and consistency.
We’re looking for a reliable part-time line cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced daytime café kitchen and takes pride in preparing fresh food with care and attention to detail.
This role is a great fit for someone who prefers daytime hours and a positive team environment rather than late-night restaurant shifts.
Position Details
Pay: $17–$19 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Approximately 20–24 hours per week
Required shifts:
Typical shift: either 7:00-2:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (some flexibility possible)
Additional shifts or hours may be available for someone interested in picking up more time.
Responsibilities
- Cook and plate breakfast and lunch menu items during café service
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep for service
- Follow house recipes and maintain consistency and quality
- Assist with catering and production when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Reliability and a positive team attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
- Interest in from-scratch cooking and quality ingredients
