Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to lead and manage large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and construction coordination, driving project success through proactive planning and team leadership. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accuracy.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams during all project phases including permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Conduct thorough review of construction drawings and schematics to verify design integrity and facilitate seamless system integration.
- Track project timelines, ensure deliverables and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication across teams
- Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and coordinate construction schedules to optimize workflow.
Skills
- Extensive experience with electrical engineering principles combined with strong knowledge of electrical systems design and system integration.
- Proficiency in construction design using CAD, PJM software is a plus!
- Competency in using Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Knowledge of permitting phases involved in electrical projects along with strong understanding of electrical building codes for various jurisdictions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar required
