Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscaping Foreman to lead and oversee outdoor landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality grounds maintenance and landscape installations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including lawn care, planting, pruning, and ground maintenance
- Lead outdoor construction projects such as hardscape installation, irrigation system setup, and tree care
- Manage crew members by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training, and ensuring safety compliance
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles responsibly to complete landscaping tasks efficiently
- Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed
- Oversee irrigation management to maintain healthy landscapes and troubleshoot system issues
- Ensure all work sites adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture with a focus on outdoor work environments
- Supervising or team management experience in landscaping or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and plant identification
- Skilled in operating grounds equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple outdoor projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely
- Knowledge of irrigation management, tree care techniques, hardscape installation, and general construction experience is highly desirable
