Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production and maintain cleanliness.
- Manage customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash register operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas regularly.
- Handle retail sales transactions confidently, including processing cash, credit card payments, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Assist in food safety management by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service restaurants or fast food environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate register operations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
