Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to guide and inspire our preschoolers in a dynamic classroom setting. In this pivotal role, you will develop engaging curricula, manage daily classroom activities, and support children’s growth across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains. Your leadership will ensure a joyful, inclusive, and enriching environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and lifelong learning.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with our inquiry-based curriculum, emphasizing literacy education, math skills, and early childhood development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques that support all children’s needs.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized strategies for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Oversee daily classroom routines, including care activities and structured play to promote holistic growth.
- Operate a clean and organized classroom.
- Maintain clear communication with administrators, parents, and guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standards for preschool education while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Lead by example in demonstrating best practices in childcare, classroom experience management, lesson planning, and teaching.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and literacy education techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development methods such as Montessori or other progressive educational approaches.
- Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Certification or training in early childhood education preferred.
