About the Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will serve as a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that production remains seamless by managing the acquisition of essential materials and services. You will leverage your expertise in ERP systems and vendor relations to drive cost-efficiency and maintain optimal inventory levels, directly influencing our ability to meet critical customer delivery timelines.
Responsibilities-
Execute the full procurement lifecycle by generating and managing purchase orders within our ERP environment.

Source raw materials, MRO supplies, and specialized outside processing services to support manufacturing operations.

Analyze supplier quotations to identify the best value, balancing cost, quality, and lead-time requirements.

Proactively track open orders and resolve discrepancies in pricing, delivery schedules, or documentation to prevent production delays.

Collaborate cross-functionally with production planning and quality teams to ensure all incoming goods meet technical specifications.

Maintain data integrity within the ERP system, including updating lead times, vendor records, and pricing structures.

Drive supplier performance by monitoring on-time delivery metrics and addressing documentation gaps.
Qualifications-
Proven experience in purchasing, production control, or manufacturing administration.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Excel for data management.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret part numbers, revisions, and technical documentation.

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.

ITAR eligibility to support specialized manufacturing requirements.

Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision metal fabrication sectors.

Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 and material traceability protocols.

Direct experience with Global Shop ERP or similar manufacturing platforms.

Knowledge of outside processing workflows and approved supplier management.
