Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CAM programming equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy in accordance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to factory safety protocols.
- Handle materials and finished products efficiently using forklifts or other materials handling tools while observing safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, or CNC machining centers in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, shop math, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments along with the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications accurately.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks for design review or tooling adjustments is preferred.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience involving materials handling, assembly line work, welding, or packaging is advantageous.
