Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. Prior experience is not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of practice areas, including Family Law and Criminal Law. The Associate Attorney will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support to clients and internal teams, ensuring effective case management, legal research, drafting, and advocacy. Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and memoranda with precision and clarity
- Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for depositions and court appearances
- Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to ensure timely updates and compliance
- Engage in client communication to provide updates on case progress and gather necessary information for ongoing matters
- Support litigation efforts through court depositions, procedural law application, and legal advocacy efforts
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases involving Family Law.
- Conduct statutory legal research to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations relevant to each case
- Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Assist in the drafting of legal motions and pleadings for court proceedings across multiple jurisdictions
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; bar admission in relevant jurisdiction required or pending admission
- Proven experience or internship in law office settings demonstrating familiarity with legal case management and research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw is preferred by NOT REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of procedural law and experience with court depositions and trial preparation
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents and correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal research across diverse practice areas including immigration law, family law, and general litigation
- Effective negotiation skills combined with the ability to advocate passionately for clients’ interests
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Familiarity with legal motion preparation and procedural requirements in various courts is preferred
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced law office environment is highly desirable but NOT REQUIRED

Pay: $86,374.46 - $104,020.86 per year
