Mathnasium, an innovative Math Learning Center, in the Cedar Hill TX area, has openings for highly skilled and motivated math instructors. We are looking for instructors with a strong Math background and excellent communication skills to teach students in 2nd through 12th grade.
Requirements
- Strong background in math education with excellent academic credentials.
- Demonstrated proficiency in math up through calculus.
- Excellent communication skills, with a sense of humor and an upbeat attitude.
- An open mind readily able to learn the Mathnasium teaching method.
- Committed, reliable and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
- Explain and illustrate math topics using a variety of strategies
- Interacting and motivating students during the instruction hour
- Evaluating and rewarding student progress
Instruction Hours – 3:00 pm -- 7:30 pm (Mon-Thu) & 10:00 am - 1:00 pm (Sat). Instructors must have availability 2 to 3 days per week during instruction hours.
Compensation
- Compensation will be based on education and experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
