Job Summary

As a Barback, you will support bartenders and restaurant staff by ensuring the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized. Duties
- Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, beverages, and utensils to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks when needed
- Buss tables and clear empty dishes promptly to keep the dining area tidy
- Support bartenders with basic beverage preparation and ingredient retrieval
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed in accordance with health standards
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by responding quickly to staff needs and guest inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper dishwashing procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for inventory counts and cash handling support when necessary
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to foster guest relations
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting supplies and cleaning equipment
- Prior experience in roles like host/hostess, catering assistant, or banquet staff is advantageous
