Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor and enforce parking regulations on private property and residential communities. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional presence, ensure compliance with property rules, and interact respectfully with residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned properties (vehicle and/or foot patrol)
- Enforce parking regulations and property policies
- Issue warnings and citations as necessary
- Document violations with photographs and detailed reports
- Utilize handheld devices and enforcement software
- Communicate professionally with property management, residents, and the public
- Booting/Towing of vehicles when necessary
- Submit accurate daily activity reports
- Respond to parking-related inquiries and complaints
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in confrontational situations
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Prior security or parking enforcement experience preferred (but not required)
- Must utilize your own vehicle
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods
- Ability to operate a patrol vehicle safely
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
