Responsibilities
- Assist with food production and meal preparation, following established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Serve meals to customers with professionalism and friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas through proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Handle food safely by adhering to food handling regulations and safety protocols
- Support dietary department tasks such as cleaning utensils and organizing food supplies
- Ensure timely delivery of meals, managing time effectively to meet scheduled service times
- Help with food storage, inventory management, and restocking supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food handling, cooking, and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with dietary guidelines is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward customers
- Ability to follow safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
- Prior kitchen experience or culinary background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Must be ServSafe certified within 30 days of employment
