Medical Assistant Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality care to patients in various medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and make a positive impact on patient well-being. This position requires 3 days and 2 nights a week and a Saturday morning rotation. You will work at both our Springdale location and our Mason location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses in office setting.
- Handle patient intake, including vital signs measurement, medical history documentation and standard lab and diagnostic testing
-Other duties include assisting providers with exams, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and exam rooms.
Skills:
- Proficiency in working with diverse patient populations in office setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy medical environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in documentation and patient care.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
