Pete’s Hometown Grocery is looking for a hands-on Produce Lead to lead our fresh department. This role is responsible for product quality, merchandising, ordering, and team leadership to ensure a clean, full, and guest-friendly produce area every day.
Responsibilities:
· Order, receive, and maintain fresh produce inventory
· Ensure quality, rotation, and proper product displays
· Manage pricing, signage, and merchandising standards
· Lead, train, and schedule produce team members
· Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and shrink control
· Deliver friendly customer service and assist guests
Qualifications:
· Grocery or produce experience preferred
· Strong organization and leadership skills
· Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work in cool environments
· Knowledge of fresh fruits & vegetables a plus
· Reliable and customer-focused attitude
