We are a private, not-for-profit organization that coordinates public health grants for a 26-county region in central PA, seeks a Client Assistant to work in the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program in Carlisle. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, determining eligibility, collecting data, and performing various duties to ensure the delivery of WIC benefits, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support.
A high school diploma is required for this position. While prior nutrition related coursework or work experience is preferred; it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills; be a team player; and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous WIC experience is preferred but not required. Local travel within Perry and Cumberland Counties, some early evenings and some Saturdays required.
