EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL APPRAISER
Independent Contractor Opportunity — Northeast Ohio
Advanced Appraisal Services, an established Northeast Ohio residential appraisal firm operating since 1993, is seeking an experienced appraiser for an independent contractor relationship.
The appraiser will receive residential appraisal assignments on a percentage-of-fee basis. Assignment volume, geographic coverage, compensation, and other terms will be discussed confidentially. Office space, MLS access, and appraisal software may be available if needed.
The firm completes conventional, FHA, VA, relocation, estate, divorce, tax appeal, pre-listing, and other private residential appraisal assignments throughout Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, and surrounding counties.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, dependable, responsive, and capable of producing credible, well-supported appraisal reports with limited supervision.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Certified Residential or Certified General Appraiser credential
- Experience completing residential appraisal assignments
- Geographic competency within Northeast Ohio
- Strong market-analysis and report-writing skills
- Working knowledge of USPAP and current residential appraisal requirements
- Reliable communication and timely completion of assignments
- FHA and VA eligibility are beneficial but not required
This relationship will begin on an independent contractor basis. For the right person, it could develop into a larger role with Advanced Appraisal Services, including a potential long-term ownership or succession opportunity.
