Position Overview
This is a pay-per-property-clean position with weekend availability required during our busy season.
As an In-Field Cleaner, you are one of the most important members of the Forever North team. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction, property condition, and owner confidence.
You aren't simply cleaning a house—you are preparing a home for someone's vacation, anniversary, family gathering, or weekend escape.
Typical Turnover Window
9:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Final scheduling will be discussed during the interview and onboarding process.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProperty Turnovers
- Complete full turnover cleans between guest reservations
- Follow Forever North's detailed cleaning checklist for every property
- Professionally make beds using Forever North staging standards
- Fold and stage towels according to company standards
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize all living spaces
- Thoroughly clean kitchens including:
- Appliances
- Countertops
- Cabinets
- Sink
- Dishes
- Small appliances
- Clean bathrooms to hotel-quality standards
- Inspect outdoor spaces, patios, porches, grills, and entryways (when applicable)
- Remove trash and replace liners
- Leave each property guest-ready before departure
Laundry & Inventory
- Pick up and deliver linens as assigned
- Restock consumables including:
- Toilet paper
- Paper towel
- Coffee
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Soap
- Trash bags
- Laundry supplies
- Notify management when inventory is running low
- Maintain organization of owner closets and supply areas
Quality Control
Every cleaner serves as a second set of eyes for each property.
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting maintenance concerns immediately
- Reporting damaged or missing items
- Identifying safety hazards
- Reporting pest activity
- Completing required property photos
- Logging lost-and-found items
- Communicating concerns through Breezeway and Slack
Property Care
Treat every home as though it were your own.
This includes:
- Turning lights on appropriately
- Setting thermostats to company standards
- Ensuring furniture is properly staged
- Straightening décor
- Checking outdoor furniture
- Confirming locks, windows, and doors are secure before leaving
Team Expectations
- Arrive on time and ready to work
- Communicate professionally
- Adapt to changing schedules
- Assist teammates when needed
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Represent Forever North professionally while at every property
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
- Comfort using smartphones and company software
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Weekend availability is required during peak season (May through October).
