Bella Vita Health and Rehabilitation Center, located in the heart of Glendale, Arizona, is seeking compassionate and reliable CNA’s to join our dedicated team. As a CNA at Bella Vita, you will be essential in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.
- Provide comfort and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional condition, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Accurately document the care provided for each resident, including changes in their condition, on the appropriate records or systems.
- Maintain clear communication with the nursing staff about any significant observations or concerns.
- Support to Nursing Staff:
- Assist nurses with vital signs checks, repositioning, and transferring residents as necessary.
- Support the clinical team with other tasks, such as assisttd dining,ensuring proper hygiene, and assisting with mobility needs.
- Aid with patient care during routine and emergency situations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the best care.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality care delivery.
- Infection Control & Safety:
- Follow infection control guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of residents' rooms and common areas.
- Opportunities for Growth:
- Take initiative to develop and enhance your skills through on-the-job training and educational opportunities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to expand your knowledge and advance your career within the healthcare field.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Perform other related duties as required by nursing staff or management to meet the needs of the residents.
Qualifications:
- Certification:
- Must be a CNA with a valid certification in the state of Arizona.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus but not required.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the healthcare field is essential.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Dependable, reliable, and able to maintain a positive attitude even in challenging situations.
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely, following proper protocols.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality care.
Schedule:
Full-time and part-time 12 hr shifts available, requiring every other weekend. Scheduling based on the needs of the facility.
