Job Summary
As a Floating Member Service Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional member service at our Cranberry and Franklin Park locations. Your energetic approach and flexible mindset will ensure seamless support wherever needed, helping to create a welcoming environment for members and team members alike. You will handle a variety of financial transactions, assist members with their banking needs, and promote the credit union's products through relationship management and upselling strategies. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to develop broad industry knowledge while contributing to the overall success of our financial services team.
Responsibilities
- Process teller transactions. Open all deposit account types including sub-shares, certificates after proper training. Complete new member onboarding.
- Process all death claims, wire transfers, address changes, distribution/allotments, subsequent action forms, check orders/re-orders, closed accounts. Assist with member account reconciliation and CD renewals. Maintain required imaging of documents to support disaster recovery.
- Process all loan application types after proper training from the loan department; complete loan closings and required lending documents; acquire and renew NMLS registration.
- Assist in sorting, distributing, and processing incoming mail, answer incoming and outgoing phone calls, and respond to emails, MRM, and Workflow messages.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services to meet members' financial needs.
- Travel to support other branches as needed.

Skills
- Strong member relationship management skills with a focus on relationship building and client retention.
- Knowledge of banking products, financial sales techniques, and industry regulations related to financial compliance.
- Excellent cash handling abilities with experience in cashiering, cash drawer balancing, and processing cash transactions accurately.
- Effective communication skills for engaging members and collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment.
